Wakka, I got you that trophy man QuQ Kinda gave up on blitzball afterwards though so uhh…your teammates are kinda just sitting there in the locker room. I’m sure some team will hire them. If not, then well…props to them for occupying the locker room even during Sin’s attack. True blitz players. So glad you got over that hardheaded “Yevon’s teachings are always right screw the Al Bhed” mindset. Made you much more likable. Your accent amuses me. Also I ship you with Lulu.

Lulu, not really sure what to say about your character growth since being Chappu’s fiance and all. Guess you were the “this is the way things are, are you an idiot” expository character to counter Auron’s secretive “figure it out yourself, this is your story” character. Anyway, black mages always made me a happy panda. Flare, ultima, doublecast and 1 MP cost were beautiful additions to your arsenal. Giving the copycat skill to Yuna and Rikku just completed the spell warfare against the fiends. 

Kimahri I hardly ever used you. I hardly ever use blue mages. You got your honor back though. Zuko would be proud.

Rikku—damn I was so used to seeing you as that long-haired FFX-2 version I always see around the net or at cons, so when you popped up looking like you did I was like “hnnnng that’s almost the splitting image of Raz’s hair 8’D” /weeps Ah well. You were a bloody adorable character. Glad I made you into a thief/black mage hybrid. Also you have Cid as a father and that’s pretty cool. And I think I’d hate your Japanese counterpart because her whiny voice grates on my nerves.

Auron- Always fond of the badass old man trope. Somehow knew you’d turn out to be an Unsent with all those “I don’t feel like explaining that” “where have you been for the last 10 years” not to mention the calm “oh hey Sin’s attacking Zanarkand here have a sword as I throw you into a Sin vortex by the way this whale thing is your dad but that’s a secret let me now chuckle and walk off as you yell at my back” Kinda wish you got more backstory aside from that Jecht sphere sidequest thing but eh.

Yuna- All those. Pauses. Were vaguely. Annoying. But still. I like you. :D Really took things into your own hands and decided to keep on going with the Pilgrimage even after finding out that everything you believed in was a lie. Even stuck being known as “the High Summoner’s daughter”, you didn’t let that define you and broke a thousand year tradition. Once I manage to beat Sin you’ll be known as Spira’s savior or something but eh you got people with ya.

Tidus- YOU’RE GOING TO VANISH INTO THIN AIR AREN’T YOU. OR INTO THOSE SPARKLY SOUL ORBS. OR INTO THE FARPLANE OR SOMETHING AND WHEN EVERYONE SEES YOU GO LIKE THAT I AM GOING TO BAWL SO HARD. BUT FIRST IF YOU MANAGE TO MEET UP WITH YOUR OLD MAN AGAIN BY THE TIME THIS GAME ENDS AND TELL HIM HOW YOU BECAME A STAR BLITZBALL PLAYER AND THAT HIS DREAM CAME TRUE IN THE END AND THEN YOU TWO MANAGE TO MAKE UP LIKE THE ASSHAT FATHER-SON COMBO YOU ARE BEFORE HE STOPS BEING JECHT OR SOME SAD GOODBYE LIKE THAT I WILL BAWL HARDER.
