this is the first story from the natsume novel (which came out at the same time as volume fifteen, I believe?), translated from scans provided by lady39jane on livejournal! thank you very much.

the story is over a hundred pages, so please forgive me for uploading in parts. I’ll probably go two chapters at a time from here on in (since the first one is just especially long) and there are nine in total. I’m not too quick though so I can’t say when I’ll be done each part!

if there are any translation/grammatical/plain old awkward english errors, please tell me and I’ll try my best to fix them!
